Passover

As we celebrate the Passover together we are taking time to focus, with gratitude, on God's deliverance of His people from slavery in Egypt, which is a picture of our ultimate salvation from sin and death through Jesus Christ!
This is a special catered dinner for the whole family with traditional call and response as we read a messianic script together. The children are also involved in the evening. We will examine the story of the Exodus, communicated through the food we are eating, along with the words we are saying. This is a powerful experience where we understand and meditate on the power of the death and resurrection of Jesus, with gratitude for the fulfillment of God's promise of salvation to us!

Open House
Open House is our monthly all-church gathering. We worship together as one church, hear from our pastors and eat a meal together. This is also a great week to check out our community if you are wanting to know more about our community. Every 1st Sunday of the month this gathering will be at 3:45pm at 128 W 16th St. in the Flatiron area of Manhattan. Kids lesson happens during the message. Everyone is welcome.
All Church Fast
When we fast we are setting aside something we need (food) for something we need more (Jesus). It’s in this act of sacrifice that our perspective is aligned with the heart of God and we clear out distraction so that we can hear his voice and understand his will. It’s from this place of surrender that we demonstrate our commitment to see his will done in our lives and in our world. It’s from this place of denying self that we create a place of weakness that we refuse to satisfy with anything but his Spirit.
Join us as we fast for 7-days as a church community. We will be laying down distractions and giving ourselves wholeheartedly to prayer. Our leadership team has chosen to fast all food and only drink juice or water over the course of the week. (We have a guide to fasting to help you prepare your body for a fast). If you need to adjust the fast for health reasons we can suggest some alternative choices. Ultimately please check with your doctor if you have any health concerns.
We would challenge you to fast something food related as opposed to something supplementary like coffee or Facebook. While it’s a great idea to take breaks from extra things in our life, we see the biblical pattern of fasting is abstinence from food and drink in order to seek God, believe for breakthrough and grow in intimacy with him.
